How to Calm Your Crying Child

Tips on making a crying child smiling and happy.

It is a great feeling to have a child playing in your arms. As they are smiling and playful; we enjoy the moments. We cuddle them, love them. But soon as they insist for some thing they liked or seen, it becomes very difficult task for parents to calm them, what tests their patience. But if we listen to them and try to teach them with proper way these tiny tots can forget the matter for what they were insisting or crying for. The small world is wonderful. They love equally to their toys as they love their parents.

It often starts with curiosity, child begins to play with a toy the colour of toy if bright attractive, fascinates him very much. Child observes the toy from every angle and tries to calm his curiosity by playing with it. Some times, when the colour is very attractive it even tests it by taking the toy into his mouth. This makes us angry and we take off the toy from his hand and keep it away from his reach. Now, the baby starts pointing to the toy as he wants to play with it; and if his demand is not attended it starts crying.

In such situation, firstly try to distract baby's attention to many other toys available around him or places such as a lampshade, lamp or the nature around him for example, a butterfly flying, chirping sparrows, falling water through tap; by giving him knowledge about it's beautiful colour or shape or soft touch. Baby forgets his old business and pays attention to you he tries to understand your instructions what makes him involve with our conversation and forgets the matter quickly.

Babies love to play by nature. When baby starts crying cuddle him and try to give him your warmth. This feeling of love makes him to calm down his anger. Start playing a game with him what he will enjoy; or try to feed him with his favourite dish and spoon. A simple loving tone can make baby to forget his demand for a toy or particular thing.

Last but not least don't beat him or become angry at him as this act may frighten him. Feed him with some food or provide him with some water which helps him to relax!
