How to get the integrity out of a child? This provokes many ideas out from some experts, but the basic thing is to establish the right values out of the child.
What are the values? I think, we should treat each child as a tree, not branches. He or she is a whole system: roots, stem, branches, leaves, etc. Also, a child should have full personality. Further, he or she is an individual of the society as a single unit of it, which needs the development, psychologically and mentally.
The integrity of a child should be a continuous individual development. Under your supervision, he or she can gradually realize the self development, from individual to social aspects. Actually, to sow the integrity seeds in your child is to teach him or her to develop fully - morally, intellectually, healthily.
To let the child develop healthily, you need to prepare him or her for physic exercises to build up a strong body, in order that he or she could have a sound body. This is the first and foremost thing that you should help your child to get. To let the child have a sense of morality, you should try to let him or her to understand what should be done and what shouldn't, and let them understand what is right and what is wrong. It is priceless to have a child with morality. Also, you need to offer your child a good education, family education and school education.
You can plant the seeds in your child in daily life. When there is housework, you can train him or her to do it; when you play games with your child, you can train his or her sense of fair play and justice. When there is a person who needs help, you can let him or her know that it is a good deed to help the person. There are many more ways to train your child.
Remember, whole education is the key to plant the integrity seeds in your child. When it is the time to water it, you need to water it; when it is the time to trim it, you need to do the trimming job. Your child needs your guide.
I do think that it is important for you to let your child have a whole education. Don't you think so?
