Entertain Your Five Month-Old |

Five quick and easy ways to entertain your five month old baby, which are fun and free. |
- Put on some music with a good beat and whilst holding baby, dance around the room moving to the beat. Your baby will sway with you to the music, which makes them smile.
- Place baby on your shin facing upwards, holding their arms securely and lift your leg up and down. Your baby will giggle.
- Sit baby on your knee and bob up and down singing a nursery rhyme in time with the bobs. Your baby will giggle and reach out to you.
- Lay baby on play mat and sitting opposite them, bring them up to a sitting position by their arms whilst singing the row, row, row your boat song. Your baby will smile and look you in the eyes.
- Run your finger around their palm in a circle whilst singing “round and round the garden, like a teddy bear' then say “one step” whilst tickling their wrist, “two step” whilst tickling the crook of their elbow and “three step tickly under there” whilst tickling under their arm. Your baby will giggle with the anticipation of what's coming next every time you do this.
