2. Theme

This is very important when considering hiring a magician for your event. Because this will be the basis of what will the magician's performance be. Of course if your event's theme is under the sea, the magician wouldn't be performing fire tricks because that would defeat the purpose of the theme. He wouldn't be performing a gory sawing a woman in half if it was a Christmas party would he? So if ever you are hiring a magician in an event just tell him in advance what would be your party's theme.

3. Guests

The type of guests is very important too when hiring a magician. If your guests are all geniuses that doubt everything that they see, a magician might back out on your event. So if you're going to hire one make sure that you tell him who will be your guests ant least what type of people are they. Through this a magician would know what tricks to perform so that the guests won't be bored.

4. Venue

This is very important for a magician because his trick will really depend on how large the venue is. A magician of course wouldn't do a card trick if the other guests won't see it right? So in order for the magician to perform the proper tricks he must know first the size of the venue.
