The first step is not to panic. If you panic, many problems happen. The second step is to find out if the place you are on is an island or not. You could have landed on a country where people live. If the place you are on is an island, you should go back to where the plane, or boat landed and look for some useful objects you can use. Such as a knife, lighter, etc. The fourth step is to find where you can find food, such as fruits or animals. (Pigs, coconuts, bananas, etc). The fifth step is to find or look for other people. There can be people already living on the island or there can be people that are in the same status as you are. The sixth step is to make a fire.
This is important because you will need some kind of signal for you to get rescued. The last step is to do anything you can to survive and to wait for some one to rescue you. If you see an airplane it is best to start throwing rocks at it until it breaks apart and falls ands stuff. If you see anyone coming out of the crashed plane you're in luck because now you have emergency food supplies. Basically just eat him if you run out of food. If you find wild animals on the island you might be able to tame it and turn it into your slave. If it disobeys you just eat him. You don't have to worry about running out of food cause you are surrounded in it. Drink the ocean and you will live.
