Spit-Shine Your Shoes

Here is the procedure that will give your shoes the greatest shine ever.

This may sound really disgusting but it gives a wonderful shine. You can use your saliva to give leather shoes an extra glossy patent leather shine. To do this, you need to shine your shoes with polish regularly, and then apply the spit. Here is the complete procedure.

  1. Brush off the dirt.

With brush, wipe off all dirt and dust from the shoe. If you need water, use only a small amount.
  2. Dab the polish with a rag.

Scoop a little bit of polish onto the rag. The polish should match your shoe's color.
  3. Rub the polish evenly onto the shoe.

Make sure the polish covers the entire shoe, but don't rub it in to vigorously.
  4. Buff the shoe

With a brush rapidly rub the polish into the shoe until the polish shines evenly. When you have finished buffing with a brush, you may want to buff again with a clean rag. This is not necessary but may provide a higher shine.
  5. Spit on top of the shoe.

  6. Dab the polish with the rag.

You don't need as much polish this time because there is already polish on the shoe.
  7. Mix the polish with saliva.

Rub the rag into the spit, and rub over the entire shoe. Add more saliva if necessary, and continue rubbing until the shine meets your expectations. You do not need to buff again.
