Things to Get Ready:
- Ten small discs of tin about 3 cm in diameter
- A larger tin disc about 8 cm in diameter
- Some strings
Instructions:
- Make a hole in the centre of the small disc. Do the same for the other nine small discs.
- Next, thread a string through the small disc hole and knot one end of the string. This is to prevent the disc from falling off. Do the same for the other nine small discs.
- Then, make eleven holes on the larger disc. They must be ten along the circumference and one in the centre.
- Now, attach the small disc to the larger disc with strings. Make sure you tie the strings securely and tightly. Also, make sure that the strings attached to the small discs are equally long in length.
Wow, now you have got a new wind chime! It is better to hang a wind chime at the top of the window. Whenever the wind blows, the discs will strike against each other and this creates the sound of nice chiming.
