How to Make a Box

Ingredients

• Cardboard or illustration board
• Scrapbook paper/specialty board of your choice
• Glue gun with glue stick
• Cutter

Method

1. To make a box, cut the illustration board according to the following sizes:
   • Front and Back: 2 pcs. 4”(length) by 3” (height)
   • Sides: 2 pcs. 3”(length) by 3”(height)
   • Bottom: 1 pc 4” by 3”
   • Box Cover:
   • Top: 1 pc. 4”(length) by 3”(width)
   • Front and Back: 2 pcs 4”(length) by 1” (width)
   • Sides: 2 pcs 3”(length) by 1” (width)
2. Glue together the pieces of illustration board using a glue gun. Optional: To make the box sturdier, cut strips of newspaper and paste one or two layers on all sides of the box. Use glue mixed with a little water as adhesive. Let dry.
3. Cover the box with specialty boards or scrapbook paper of your choice. Be creative and design your box according to your taste.
