Maybe you are thinking that is because you can't make microphone or headphones. If that is what you think then you are wrong, you can make your own microphone or headphones very easily. Anyone that can make their own speaker will have no problem making their very own microphone or headphone.
It is possible that you have seen the videos online of how to make HD speakers for only a penny sadly these videos are fake but you might have found how to make a regular speaker on your own for real. If you found how to make a speaker on your own then you should be able to figure out how to make your own headphones or microphones.
Only a few items are needed for you to make a pair of headphones or microphone and you may already have the items at on hand. If you do not have the items already don't worry you can get them easily really cheap. What are the items you need to make your own microphones or headphones? You are going to need wire, a magnet, and some headphones.
To begin get the headphones and cut them off. Then what you need is to get a magnet and then wrap the wire around the magnet. On the end of the wire from the headphones you should have two pieces of loose wire. Connect the loose wires to the magnet and connect those wires to the headphone wires. For safety it is best to use electrical tape. Plug in the headphones into the headphone jack of whatever you have that uses a headphone jack.
These won't work great but are good if you like to make things, a more useful project is making your own microphone. To make the microphone do the same thing but instead of inserting the headphone into the headphone jack put it into the microphone jack and speak into one of the earbuds.
To not waste a pair of headphones you can get a headphone jack instead and wire everything up to the headphone jack. Most likely you don't have a headphone jack but you can buy one at any electronic supplier like Radio Shack or Mouser Electronics. If you have no wire you can use household items to make wire. Items that are good for making wire are aluminum foil, or metal ties from bread packages.
