Malaysia Must Try Food: Kolomee

Kolomee is a popular food in Malaysia especially for the Chinese. Kolomee is non-halal, so it is not suitable for Muslim.

When you visit Malaysia, you must try kolomee because you will not find it any other place in the world except Malaysia. Kolomee can be found in the state of Sarawak in Malaysia. Kolomee is easily found in the town named Kuching in Sarawak. Kuching is known the “City of Cat”. So, you can see some statues of cat in the town area of Kuching.

Kolomee is made using handmade noodles, fresh vegetables and “char-sio” (pork meat). The taste of kolomee is quite special because of the special recipe. You will be surprised by the wonderful taste of kolomee. So, you must try it out when you visit Kuching.

Kolomee can be found almost in every coffee shop in Kuching. Some of the recommended coffee shops that sell very delicious kolomee are Thompson Corner and Sin Lian Shin (Green Road). The owner of Sin Lian Shin drives a Mercedes Benz just by selling kolomee.
