By planning and cooking extremely low cost meals, you will save greatly on your grocery bill.

With the cost of groceries going up, many families are searching for ways to lower the cost of their groceries every month. Typical great suggestions is using coupons, using a price book, and shopping the sales. Another well known tip is using a grocery list and planning your menu. About.com turns up several recipe ideas such as breakfast that are under 45 cents per serving, lunches under 50 cents per serving, and dinners under a dollar. Although their cost is estimated they will still be great ideas for creating a low cost menu for a family.

She also lists a shopping list already prepared. Then there is the $70 low cost menu too. This I found much better then scoping out the grocery store for frozen 10 to $10 deals.
