Instructions on how to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
Well kids, there are lots of ways to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I mean, you put jelly on one side and peanut butter on another, or you could mix the peanut butter and jelly together. Then there is the matter of what bread you are going to use. Just think of the possibilities.
The first thing that a person must do in regards to making a sandwich is to pick which type of bread they're going to use. There are many types of bread that they could choose from. There is white, wheat, whole grain, rye, pumpernickel, ECT. The choices are endless. Well, maybe not endless but there are a lot of choices where bread is concerned.
Now, if they wanted to get creative in the bread areas there are many artistic things a person could do to their slices. One could, for instance, cut the bread into shapes like hearts, stars, circles, or the occasional unicorn. It has been known to happen, trust me. One could also go without the crust or with the crust, but it's optional. A person could even go so far as to toast the bread.
Okay, we're done with the bread; let's move on to what the sandwich maker could put on their sandwich. Let's start with the fruity side. They could use jelly, jam, preserves, or for those people who like to live on the wild side, real fruit. Yeah, I know it's dangerous, but it has been known to happen. Not to mention the many flavors.
Alright, let us stop here and go into depth for a minute. What is the difference between jam and jelly, one could ask? Well, jelly is made from the juice of the fruit, and jam is made from the fruit itself. Just in case one didn't know the difference.
Let's move on to the peanut butter portion of this essay. See, there aren't as many choices in peanut butter as there are in fruit, but there are enough to make it interesting. In general one can choose between crunchy or smooth, but these days there is a wider variety so that we can satisfy our diverse food consumers. They've gone so far as to create all natural, organic peanut butter for those vegans out there.
We have finally reached the part of this program where we put the sandwich together. It has taken us a while to reach this point, but we made it. First, the sandwich maker should take two slices of bread and lay them on a flat, clean surface. Next, they take whatever fruit product they have chosen, get a knife or spoon, and spread it onto one of the slices of bread. As soon as they are done with that they should take their knife/spoon to the sink and rinse it off before beginning the next step.
After they are done rinsing their eating utensil, they need to get out the peanut butter product they have chosen. Use the knife or spoon they have just rinsed off to smooth the peanut butter onto the other slice that does not have the fruit product on it. When they are done with that they take the two slices of bread and put them together with the peanut butter facing the fruit side. The person should then put it on a plate and clean up their mess before enjoying the fruits of their labor. But as soon as they're done with that they can eat their sandwich.
And that my friends, is how one makes a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. It's not that hard, it just takes a little time and effort on the sandwich maker's side. And the product is not half bad either. So what are you waiting for? Go and make a sandwich!
