Swallow If You Dare: 3 Hair Raising Drinks for the Common Daredevil

Would you drink something that came out of an animal's digestive system?

Drink these if you dare:

Luwak Coffee

Luwak Coffee or better known as Kopi Luwak of Sumatra, Indonesia is a type of premium coffee which costs around $300 per pound (or more), making it the world's most expensive coffee.

What is so special about Luwak Coffee is that the premium coffee beans are collected from the feces of civet cats (called Luwak by the locals).

The excellent taste and aroma of this coffee is said to be acquired as a result of fermentation process in the civet cat's digestive system which removes the caffeine and its bitter taste, leaving only the smooth chocolaty flavor and tantalizing aroma.

The video above shows: The world's most expensive coffee comes out of the anus of this animal...

Believe me, you can buy the Luwak Coffee in its original unrefined fecal form for souvenir but would you drink this premium coffee?

Chinese Worm Tea

Worm tea of better known as “Chong Cha” by the Chinese is not made of worm. In fact it's even worse than that since it is made of the feces of silk worm.

The excretion of the silk worm will be collected and dried up in the form of tea powder. The worm tea brew which costs around $20 for every 100 grams, is said to be full of medicinal values such as healing hemorrhoids, detoxing body and curing diarrhea, among others.

With the excellent taste of this tea brew, its healing power and in spite of its disgusting origin, do you mind drinking this rare tea?

Bird's Nest Tonic

Not many people know that bird's nest is made of the saliva of a type of bird, called the Swift.

Costing around $50-$100 per kilogram for unprocessed bird's nest, it is highly regarded by the Chinese as a delicacy with many medicinal properties such as to boost respiratory system and improve blood circulation.

There are in fact many ways to prepare the bird's nest which include to turn it into soup or beverage or concentrated tonic.

Even though it is a supreme Chinese delicacy, do you mind drinking the bird's saliva?
