Bottled Water Vs. Tap Water

The bottled water industry and what it wants all of us to believe.

Everyone seems to be telling us something different about bottled water versus tap water but if you notice, some of the bottled water manufacturers are companies that are not known for concerning themselves with our health; case in point; Pepsi-Cola and Coca-Cola. Since when is soda pop a healthy choice?

Surveys show that 56% of Americans today are concerned about the quality of their tap water and the bottled water industry is cashing in on our fear at an alarming rate of $22 billion a year, worldwide.

The misconception that many bottled water companies are projecting is that their water comes from pure springs of distant mountains, but do they really?

Many experts claim that bottled water companies actually use the same type of sources that your tap water comes from and you’re paying for it!

Did you know that 1.5 million tons of plastic are used to bottle water every year and that they wind up in landfills which only add to the earth’s pollution?

And what about the harmful release of toxic-chemicals into the air during the making of these plastic bottles and their disposal? Your best, safest and cheapest way to ensure that you and your family are drinking safe water without adding to the world’s pollution crisis is to buy a water filter and drink your water straight out of the tap.

If you live in an area where the water is contaminated, try boiling it or filtering it, especially if money is a concern.

Bottled water is the biggest rip off possible and think about all the plastic bottles that wind up in the land fills. We are wasting our natural resorces at an alarming rate. Please wake up people and smell the coffee.

HEY!!!! I LIKE CHEESE TOOO!!!!! im on an all cheese diet and luckly
that dosnt involve me drinking water! but n e ways........ i definatley think that tap is way better then bottled water. i get so mad when people throw away and dont recycle their bottles! nearly 90 percent of bottles are not recycled WHICH IS REDICULOUS!
(yes im an environmentalist) and all of the plastic that is being tossed into the world is doing nothing but cause global warming which is causing this SEVERE climate change! so the next time u reach to throw that bottle in the trash remember that your only cuasing our planet closer and closer to extinction.no joke

Have you seen the inside of your water pipes at your home?? uukk!

GDOG, have you seen the inside of the pipes at the bottling plants? Don't be mislead by marketing schemes. They sell the water to make money, not because it is better for you. Tap water is far more regulated than bottled water. In most cases, bottled water is just bottled tap water!
