How to Make Your Apartment Seem Closer to Home

Are you squeezed into a four walled apartment with no windows and bad lighting? If you are one of these people, than I can help you. The first thing you need to do is go to a local store and buy some cheap potted plants and a couple bright lights.

1. You want your apartment to have premium lighting. You want to be able to read as easy as possible, watch television easier, find things easier, and even feel better. Studies prove that you do feel better when o room is full of light. Why do you think contractors spend so much time and money on getting premium lighting into their houses for sale.
   
   
   I would suggest fluorescent lights because they are eco friendly and will save you money over time, but they also get off a very pure white light unlike that given off from a conventional light bulb. Just put those light in where are all of your old ones were. If it is ok wit your land lord and you can afford it than put in some more lights that aren't already there to improve even more on what you already have.
   
   
   
   
   
2. Putting plants in you apartment will bring the outdoors in and make you feel a whole lot better. Why do you think houses with great views catch such premium prices? Its almost like a basic human need, we are connect to nature and we really do love it so we like being around it. Your total well being will be increased dramatically. Instead of being in a dreary old apartment it will glowing will light and life now. Even if you are not much of a gardener person, buy plants that wont need a lot of care like cactuses. And you don't need to spend a lot of money on expensive flowers, any plants will do.
   
   
   
3. Any artwork will make your apartment gleam at this point. By artwork that you like and don't worry too much about prices, your well being is much more important. Go to any local art studio or any art show and see if there is anything that you like. I'm sure you will find are couple of things that you like. If the prices are a little to high, don't be afraid to try and bargain them down a bit. Buy however many paintings you want. Now go hang them up in your apartment. I bet you feel better already by now. Now your apartment is warm and inviting and I'm sure anyone could enjoy themselves in it now.
