Unfortunately we have a serious problem regarding animals in Apartments. More and more Apartments will not accept animals and more so Large breeds. If for any reason, a Family has to leave their current property for any reason I would estimate 57% or more have to find their animals a new home.
This is far from acceptable and if able to take their animals, a down deposit is required for each animal and an increase in rent. I have to admit that children damage more property than any animal. There is such a rise of homeless animals that could have been saved if the laws governing Apartment living are changed.
These property owners are rolling in the dollars but they are contributing to the rise of homeless animals. The Government needs to recognize what is going on in the Apartment industry and it needs to be stopped immediately.
